Dusk at Cayuga LakePosted by Sugata (Newark, United States) on 3 January 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. I took this photo from Myer's Park, Lansing in upstate New York near Ithaca. Cayuga is the largest of the finger lakes in northeast USA. We reached this place too late to capture the sunset but this colour of the sky was well worth photographing. The light was too low for handheld photography though, and all my other shots except this one were shaky. Thanks a lot to everyone who commented on my photos, or even stopped by for a visit. The comments have been pouring in pretty fast (there are over 1500 already!) and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to reply to each individually. I'd rather spend that time in viewing others' photos and commenting there. But I do read each comment individually, and if you ask me something specific, I'll answer that. I am new to the photoblogging world. Still, I thought I would enter for the 2009 Photoblog Awards. Please vote for me if you think I deserve a vote and registering isn't too much of a trouble.
