Bridesmaids get impatient as they await the bride's arrival. Shot at Trinity Church, downtown Manhattan.
A large crowd of enthusiastic tourists with cameras had gathered outside the church opposite Wall Street. "Is it a celebrity wedding?", I asked someone standing narby. "I don't think so. I think they are regular people with a lot of money," came the reply.
I eventually saw the bride arrive in a limo, but she was too quick for a good photo. The place is perpetually in the shade and shooting is always a problem unless one has a really fast lens.
Thanks a lot to everyone who commented on my photos, or even stopped by for a visit. The comments have been pouring in pretty fast and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to reply to each individually. I'd rather spend that time in viewing others' photos and commenting there. But I do read each comment individually, and if you ask me something specific, I'll answer that.
